Oops, too late. Everyone knows already. But just play it. It’s right here, fool.
Sign Of The Times?

Is this just another example of the depth of the economic crisis? Who knows, but the crisis is definitely making it a buyer’s market. Since I’ve seen Eddie in the same pair of boots for the last 3 seasons, one could assume he’ll have a bunch of brand-new, unworn shit for sale. go look:

Louie Vito, Post-Dancing With The Stars Interview
by crust on Nov.09, 2009, under Uncategorized, snowboarding
Remember Louie Vito? He’s that one dude who went on the dancing TV show. Rides pipe. Anyway, we caught back up with this dancin’ fool to hear the wrap-up on his 15 minutes of fame.
Now that it’s all said and done, how do you feel about the whole Dancing With The Stars thing? Actually better than I thought. It was pretty funny to see some of the corest riders in snowboarding telling me they voted for me and had my back. I don’t regret it at all.
What was the worst part of it? The worst part was just going through the stress of learning all the new stuff in a few days. And of course just being that far out of my comfort zone.
What was the best part? Learning the dances were pretty cool, dealing with nerves and actually doing the dances in front of people, got to dance with a beautiful girl, and just meeting some new people.
Were you paid well? If it doesn’t make dollars it doesn’t make sense.
Does this experience change how you feel about mainstream exposure helping or hurting action sports? I think the sport going mainstream isn’t that bad. It is just exposing more people to the sport, bringing in more money to the sport, which is giving riders paychecks.
Did your riding suffer at all from the demands of the show? I think I would’ve been chillin’ anyways during the time of the show. I got a lot of riding in this summer and plus I took some runs at Mt. High the other day. Easin’ back into it.
What are you doing to prep for the big season of contests? Just makin’ sure I’m healthy, feelin’ nice and strong, and just making sure I’m ready to go.
Did you learn anything about yourself from this whole experience? It was a crazy learning experience. I was dealing with nerves and frustrations. It’s hard to learn to deal with this stuff when you don’t know how to release it. In snowboarding you can go ride something else or do a different trick, but with this—I didn’t know what to do. It’s hard to explain but it was definitely a learning experience.
Do you see yourself pursuing more TV opportunities if they arise? Right now all I want to do is snowboard—make a push for the whole Olympic thing and then once that is done, ride EVERYTHING! Take my sled out, get some pow tricks down—pretty much round out the rest of my riding to where everything is on the same level.

with the onset of winter, skating dies everywhere but a few of the warmer western states. for everyone else it kinda hibernates … but not in SoCal. The Rumble In Ramona went down a couple weekends ago. Dudes were schralping for sure. lagged like a sad douche putting up my crappy pictures. why bother, eh?
like Lincoln Ueda for instance, he killed it to death until it was dead.

or like, that old dude Screamin’ Lord Salba …

Todd Richards online premiere?
by crust on Oct.09, 2009, under Uncategorized
This pic is Brandt Todd Richards. Brandt is his real first name that nobody knows. Backside air on a Vision Lee Ralph board with Thunder trucks and Vision Proton wheels. Wearing a Flyaway helmet (Like Mike McGill). Location is Jamie MacDonald’s backyard vert ramp. Shirley, Massachusetts. He is wearing an ISM (International Snowboard Magazine) shirt. I’ll guess 1990. In the boom-box, most likely Guns ‘N’ Roses Appetite For Destruction.

I’m about to host a live chat and online movie premiere with Todd Richards on the TWsnow site. He is older than me and that is old. i’ll try to ask him a couple creepy questions—that’s all I’ve got.
